Scope

This notice applies to the website www.alpharoad.ch and to email correspondence with us. It does not apply to the applications we develop.

Visiting this website

This website is a set of static pages. It has no user accounts, contact form or newsletter, and it does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or social media plugins. Fonts and other resources are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact third parties when you load a page. The website is only served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider automatically processes the technical data needed to deliver it:

• your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
• the date and time of the request;
• the page or file requested and whether the request succeeded;
• the address of the referring page, if your browser sends it;
• your browser, its version and your operating system.

This data is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and diagnose errors. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors. It is kept by the hosting provider for a limited period, according to its retention policies.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. Vercel delivers the website through its global network, so the data described above may be processed in the United States and in other countries where Vercel operates.

Vercel is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and uses standard contractual clauses where required. More information is available in Vercel’s privacy notice.

Writing to us

When you write to info@alpharoad.ch, we process your email address, your name if you give it, the content of your message and any attachments, in order to answer you and follow up on your request.

Our email is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva, Switzerland, which stores it in data centres in Switzerland. We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to handle your request, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Legal basis

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process website data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you or, where your message concerns a contract, to take steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. Apart from the providers named above, we only disclose personal data when the law requires us to, for example to a court or an authority.

Links to other websites

This website links to other websites, such as the official commercial register. Their operators are responsible for how they process personal data, and their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You can ask us whether we process personal data about you, obtain a copy of it, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to its processing. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to restrict processing and to data portability.

To exercise your rights, write to info@alpharoad.ch. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we answer.

You can lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland or, if you live in the European Union or the European Economic Area, with the data protection authority of your country.

We will update this notice when the way the website works changes, for example if we add a form or an analytics tool. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
